These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of Study Point (the "Platform"), a software platform that helps self-study library owners manage their libraries and helps students find and interact with those libraries. By using the Platform - as a library owner, student, parent, or visitor - you agree to these Terms.
Study Point provides software tools only: seat management, attendance tracking, fee tracking, study tracking, and related features. Study Point is not itself a library, does not employ library staff, and does not control how any individual library is run day to day.
Every library is solely responsible for maintaining the accuracy of student data entered into the Platform. The Platform only provides software services - it does not verify, audit, or correct the data any library enters.
Study Point (and its Super Admin) is not responsible for incorrect student information entered by any library, nor for attendance mistakes, fee disputes, admission disputes, or any conflict arising between a student and a library.
Libraries are responsible for obtaining student consent before storing personal information about that student on the Platform, in line with applicable law.
Library admins are additionally responsible for setting accurate fee amounts, managing seat allotments fairly, and responding to student complaints and feedback submitted through the Platform.
Parents using Parent Login access are responsible for the accuracy of any information they provide, and for maintaining the confidentiality of their own login access. Parent access shows information as recorded by the library and student; Study Point does not independently verify it.
Library subscription payments are made directly to Study Point via the payment details shown at registration. Fees a library charges its own students are set and collected by that library directly - Study Point is not a party to those transactions.
Subscription payments to Study Point are generally non-refundable once a plan is activated, except where required by law or explicitly agreed to in writing. Refunds of student fees paid to an individual library are entirely at that library's discretion, as Study Point is not a party to those transactions.
Referral rewards are credited only after the referred library's registration is complete, its first payment (if applicable) is received, and it has added at least 20 students. Study Point reserves the right to review, approve, or reject any referral reward at its discretion to prevent misuse.
Advertisements shown on the Platform are submitted by library admins or third parties and reviewed by the Super Admin before publishing. Advertised content is the responsibility of the advertiser; Study Point does not guarantee the accuracy of advertised claims.
Study Point may suspend or restrict access to any account that violates these Terms, provides fraudulent information, or misuses the Platform, with or without prior notice where reasonably necessary.
Data entered on the Platform is used to provide the features requested (seat management, attendance, fees, etc.) and is stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure with access controls limiting each library's data to that library alone. While reasonable security measures are used, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
The Platform may rely on third-party infrastructure (such as cloud hosting and authentication providers) to operate. Study Point is not responsible for outages or issues originating from third-party services beyond its control.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Study Point's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Platform is limited to the amount paid by the affected library in the preceding three months, if any. Study Point is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including financial loss, academic loss, or disputes caused by information entered by library staff, students, or parents.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
